My Own Kids
I know what it’s like to feel completely helpless
as you watch your smart child struggle to read—spending twice as long on homework as their friends
and feeling frustrated about school.
We discovered our sons had dyslexia
while homeschooling them—and it became clear that what we were doing…
just wasn’t enough.
So I trained to become a dyslexia educator to learn how to help them succeed.
Today, my sons are honor roll students.
For over a decade now, I’ve taught children with dyslexia who felt behind and discouraged with reading—
despite utilizing school support, tutoring, and other reading programs that didn’t fully work.
When a child with dyslexia is finally taught the way they’re wired to learn, reading starts to click.
They stop guessing. They stop shutting down. Comprehension becomes easier.
And they finally start to feel confident.
